So true. And no matter how much the “experts” say you can rebuild trust, I don’t think it will ever be quite so complete as before. I was not just trusting. I was stupidly, naively trusting. I have learned, however, from this experience, and will not be making that mistake again.

It is painful and makes you wonder if people, just by their humanness are capable of such heroics…and by that I mean simply character and honesty.
